Jack Schank, 69, Dickinson, died Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at his home. Jack’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 20, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. William Ruelle as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Jack Schank was born on December 21, 1951 in Dickinson to George and Ann (Thomas) Schank. Jack  grew up south of Richardton on the farm. He attended Richardton Public School and Dickinson State College.

Jack continued farming with his father and his own farm north of Mott. He enjoyed going to  Dickinson State Blue Hawks, Trinity High Titans and Dickinson High Midgets football games, riding his bike and walking. He especially enjoyed his rides to the farm and lunches with his very good friend, Gene Hauck.

Jack is survived by his sister, Jackie Hoolihan, Lakeville, Minn.; brother, Robert (Kelly) Schank, Atlanta, Ga.; nephew, Brian (Claudette) Hoolihan (Brendon and Colin), Brooklyn Park, Minn.; nephew, Mike (Kelley) Hoolihan (Shannon, Blake, and Liam), Lakeville; niece, Melissa (Chad) Abrahamson (Brielle and Paisley), Bismarck.

He was preceded in death by parents, George and Ann Schank; sister, Mary Ann; brother, Bill Schank; and brother, Greg Schank.
