James P. “Jim” Roshau, 67, Mandan, died Friday, September 7, 2018 at CHI St. Alexius, Bismarck. Jim’s Liturgy of Word Service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2018 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Deacon Bob Zent presiding. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson.

Jim was born July 8, 1951 to Harry and Magdalene (Reisenauer) Roshau at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Dickinson. He attended and graduated from St. Joseph’s Grade School and Trinity High School.

He was married to Judy (Floyd) Roshau for 16 years. They raised three children in Dickinson until 1986, then moved to Mandan.

Jim worked for Hubbard Feeds as a Consulting Nutritionist in Bismarck for 24 years. He was passionate about helping his clients. Many friendships were made as a result. He enjoyed his involvement with the North Dakota Stockmen’s Association and was recognized for his vital service and support shown towards I-BAND (Independent Beef Association of North Dakota).

He was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. Jim had the ability to make conversation and chat with anyone. For fun, he loved to drive his horses, work in his yard and listen to his music. His dog “Rez” was his true companion.

Jim is survived by three children, Camey (Fred) Fox, Red Wing, Minn., Nicole (Jake) Blake, Buffalo, Minn., and James (Christina) Roshau, Mandan; grandchildren, Marcus and Ashtyn Duerre, Buffalo, and Delaynee, Grace and Rafe Fox, Red Wing; brother, Kenneth (Cherie) Roshau, Dickinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Magdalene Roshau and brothers, Rick and Alvin Roshau.
