James Patrick Krank, 26, Dickinson received his angel wings on Sunday, May 6, 2018 in Dickinson. James’ funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2018 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Rev. Joe Natwick officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, and will continue on Friday from 8 a.m. to service time.

James was born on February 9, 1992 to Patrick and Gennifer (Hill) in Dickinson. James was born and raised in Dickinson and Dickinson Public schools and graduated in 2010. He was a member of FBLA, wrestling, football, and golf. In his senior year he took a Close-Up trip to New York and Washington DC. James worked at numerous places in Dickinson to include K-mart, Kenny’s Construction, Coca-Cola and currently was working at Simonson’s for the past seven years. James was and avid reader and a huge history buff. He loved to frisbee golf, throw darts, golf, fish, play video games and was an extreme sports fan. He attended a Vikings game and they won! He loved watching movies and the sports channel and listening to music. James was a true friend and would stand beside his friends. James’ smile was contagious and could brighten any room he walked into. His personality was that of a kind, generous, giving soul. He had an enormous love of animals and adored our cat, Sunshine. He loved road trips to see his friends. Most important James loved his family and valued and cherished the love they gave him. His passion for life will forever remain in our hearts.

James is survived by his parents, Patrick and Gennifer Krank, Dickinson. He also leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Audrey Armagost of Cook, Minn., step-grandfather, LeRoy Mosbrucker, Dickinson; half-sister Tina Kasper, Boise, Idaho; aunts and uncles, Tammy (Larry) Lee, Spirit Lake, Idaho, Lori (Charles) Stratton, Montana, Kenny (Cathy) Mosbrucker, Dickinson, Lee (Pam) Mosbrucker, Spokane, Wash., Lisa (Alvin) Keller, Dickinson, Glen (Yoshie) Hill, Japan, Glory (Rocky) King, Cook, Minn., Greg (Sheila) Hill, Cook, Minn., Gay (Kenny) Schwindt, Dickinson; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather’s Edward Krank, Clark Armagost and Kenneth Hill, grandmother Wanita Mosbrucker; uncles, Eddie Krank, Jimmy Krank; one aunt Rusti Arthur; numerous beloved family and friends; and his beloved dog Willy.
