Jeanette Frederick, 87, Richardton, died on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Per Jeanette’s wishes, no services will be held.
Jeanette Evelyn Morel was born to Carl and Katherine (Bergenheier) Morel in Stark County. She grew up in Dickinson and graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Practical Nursing September 5, 1955. She worked there until 1958. Jeanette later lived in Minot and worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital almost 27 years. She also worked at Pinkerton Animal Hospital in Minot for seven years.
She enjoyed making different crafts and baked goods to sell at Flea Markets.
Jeanette is survived by her sons, Kevin, Richardton, and Jeffrey, Dickinson; daughters, Jackie (Kevin) Knight, Richardton, and Kristi (Scott) Kostad, Lignite; brother, Raymond, Hebron; sisters, Hazel Johnson, Montana, Shirley Fetch, Dickinson, and Carol McMahen, Bismarck; ten grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Anderson; her parents; brothers, Joseph and Edward; sister, Pauline; brothers-in-law, Jerry McMahen, Ed Fetch, and Kenneth Johnson; nephew, David; niece, Lisa; and great-niece, Amber.
