Jennifer L. Kuntz, 36, formerly of Dickinson died Saturday, October 16, 2010 in Fargo. Jennifer’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Keith Streifel as the celebrant and assisted by Deacon Anton Wanner. Inurnment will follow at the Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m., with Deacon Anton Wanner presiding.

Jennifer L. Kuntz was born February 8, 1974, in Dickinson, the daughter of Jerome and Carol (Tuhy) Kuntz. She was raised and educated in Dickinson having graduated from Dickinson High School in 1992. Jen went on to attend Minot State where she received a BS Degree in Broadcasting in 1996.

Jen worked at KXMC in Minot while attending college and then following a move in 1997 to Fargo began working for KXJB. In September of 1997 she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and the following surgery left her unable to return to the TV station. Jen lived in Minneapolis and Bismarck prior to returning to Fargo where she spent the last year. She worked at various jobs that she was able to get throughout this time.

Jen was an avid Minnesota Twins fan, loved watching TV, playing the piano, listening to music (especially Depeche Mode), playing cards and was a life guard while in high school.

Jen is survived by her parents, Jerome and Carol, Dickinson; her sister, Jessica (fiancé-Chris Thompson) Kuntz, Wesley, Iowa; her grandma, Ida Kuntz, Dickinson; her very special friend, Chris Molina, Minot; and fondest companion, her cat Bella. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Steve Tuhy, and Anton Kuntz; and her two cats, Jake and Bernie.
