Jesse was born April 24, 1956 in California, where he grew up, he moved to Dickinson in 1993 where he has lived since.
Jesse was a free spirit, he loved the simple things in life. He loved the outdoors, whether it was fishing at the lake, or at the rivers, playing golf on the weekends, or going to the races. He enjoyed hunting for antiques, help restore old cars, or just watching TV. Jesse used to enjoy riding his motorcycle through the mountains in California, and camping out, star gazing was something he enjoyed doing a lot. He loved reading his paper everyday and doing the crossword puzzles and playing the Lotto. Jesse enjoyed exploring the Badlands, and watching lightening storms over the prairies. Jesse loved music and playing his guitars since he was a teenager, once he picked up his first guitar he never wanted to put it down. He had a great talent, and for all those fortunate to hear him play or to have played along with him, you will have those memories in your hearts forever. Jesse loved life, his family and all those dear to his heart. He found joy in everything he did, he will be greatly missed by all who loved him, for our lose is great.
Jesse is survived by his mother, Irene Rook; father, George Salter; brother, Rodger; sisters, Florence, Connie and Jenny; daughters, Melissa and Shannon; and grandchildren, Dylan, Trinity and Kadence. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve.
