Jessie Kostelecky, 36, Richardton, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her home with her family. Jessie’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, March 6, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Richardton, with Abbot Brian Wangler, OSB as the celebrant. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 8 p.m.
Jessie Kostelecky was born December 5, 1978 in Richardton, the daughter of Albert J. and Catherine (Hutmacher) Kostelecky. She was raised on the family farm north of Richardton from 1978 to 1995, when she moved into Richardton with her mother and they lived there until the time of her death. Jessie attended grade school at Taylor-Richardton and high school at Richardton-Taylor.
She participated in Community Options, going to the community center, bowling, and playing basketball. She loved to bowl, play basketball, listening to music, animals, movies and video games. She always had a hug for everyone.
Jessie is survived by her mother, Catherine; four siblings, Jeff (Caroline) Kostelecky, Colorado Springs, Colo., Janel (Jose) Anes, Baldwin Place, N.Y., Julie (Tom) Krantz, West Fargo, and Jason (Chris) Kostelecky, Richardton; several nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her dad; and grandparents, Frank and Veronica Hutmacher, and Anton and Emma Kostelecky.
