John A. Concha, 55, Richardton, died Friday, July 26, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Health Center, Dickinson. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
John Anthony Concha was born May 18, 1958 at Santa Fe, New Mexico, the son of Joseph Santana Concha and Celestina Lucero Concha. He was raised in New Mexico and later made Richardton his home. He received his G.E.D., and then went on to attend Bismarck State College where he earned a degree in Hospitality Management.
He enjoyed writing poems, doing some sketch work, fishing and working on crossword puzzles.
John is survived by his siblings, Fermin Cruz Concha, Taos, New Mexico, Marisa L. (Carl) Preuninger, Piedmont, Ala., Marietta (William) Kostelecky, Richardton, Nasarita J. (Lee) Cramer, Missoula, Mont., and Evelyn R. (Eddie) Sarten, Ruby, Alaska; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four siblings, Cecil Concha, Rita Concha, Julian Concha, and Francina R. Lucero. He was loved and will be missed by many.
