John F. Nadvornick, 69, Dickinson, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Dickinson. John’s Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Msgr. Patrick Schumacher as the celebrant. Interment will take place at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a vigil at 6 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
John Frank Nadvornick was born June 1, 1949 in Dickinson, son of Joseph and Ann (Kress) Nadvornick. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, having graduated from Dickinson High School in 1968. John was united in marriage to Lois Mosbrucker in 2000 in Dickinson.
He worked various jobs in Dickinson prior to being employed by the City of Dickinson with the Water Department from 1979 to 2014.
In his early years, John enjoyed fishing. He would make occasional trips to the casino in his later years.
John is survived by his mother, Ann Nadvornick; sister, JoAnn (John Muniz) Thomas, Westminster, Colo.; brothers, David Nadvornick, Dickinson and Allan Nadvornick, Dickinson. He was preceded in death by his dad, Joseph; nephews, Jeffrey Thomas and Paul Thomas.
