Jordis Hunter Peterschick, 3 1/2 year old son of Joshua and Jessica Peterschick, died on Sunday, September 6, 2009 and was called into Heaven as an angel following an accidental drowning. Mass of Christian Burial for Jordis will be at 10 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Keith Streifel as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday at Ladbury Funeral Service with a vigil being at 7 p.m., with Deacon Al Schwindt presiding.

Jordis Hunter Peterschick entered this world facing many problems on December 12, 2005, the son of Joshua and Jessica (Bullinger) Peterschick. Having overcome several health issues at birth, Jordis became a very fearless and energetic little hulk. He loved to listen to music and to dance, going to and playing at the lake, all kinds of animals, and participating in wrestling. Jordis loved spending time with family and friends, and he loved to make everyone laugh.

Jordis is survived by and will be greatly missed by his parents, Josh and Jessica; his three siblings, Javen, Jalen and Jarika Peterschick all at home; his grandparents, David and Mary Bullinger, Dickinson, Sharon Peterschick, Rugby, and Dean Peterschick, Surrey; his great-grandparents, Delores Johnson, Rugby, Deloris and Hubert Krenz, Dickinson, Elroy and Myrtle Peterschick, San Diego, Calif., and Eleanor Nelson, Dickinson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Casey Bullinger; and his great-grandparents, Allen Johnson, John Bullinger and Kathryn Peterschick.
