Joyce C. Erhardt, 80, Richardton, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at CHI St. Alexius Dickinson. There will be a Graveside Service for Joyce at 3 p.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Richardton. Please join the family for lunch and fellowship following the service at the American Legion Hall in Richardton.
Joyce Claire Schwartz was born November 18, 1944 in Dickinson to Kasper and Paula (Reetz) Schwartz of Hebron. She attended school in Hebron, having graduated in 1962. After high school she attended Capital Commercial College in Bismarck. She worked at various places in Bismarck, Dickinson and Hebron.
Joyce married Marc Erhardt on September 18, 1965 at St. Ann’s in Hebron. In 1967, they moved from Dickinson to the farm northwest of Hebron where they lived until 2007 at which time they moved to Richardton.
She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary Theo R. Zech Post 180.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Marc; two children, Karla, and Perry (Stephanie); four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Dennis (Pat). She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Dale.
