Judith Schuhrke was born May 27, 1950, the daughter of Richard and Caroline (Job) Schuhrke. She was raised and educated in Belfield and graduated from Belfield High School in 1968.

Tucson, Arizona was a place she was very fond of and enjoyed living there for a short period of time, then traveling with relatives for four consecutive years to shorten up the winter months.

She had numerous jobs around the Belfield area, and the one job she especially enjoyed was working at the City of Commerce Visitors Center where she met and visited with people from all walks of life. With much pride for our beautiful state of North Dakota, she enjoyed telling people all about western North Dakota, especially Medora.

Family was important to Judy, as she always enjoyed the family reunions and visiting with the relatives. Judy was a lifetime member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. More than anything else, her Catholic faith was most important to her. With great passion, Judy shared her gifts of kindness and perseverance to whomever she met. Judy will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Judith is survived by: her brother, Richard “Dick” (Charlene) Schuhrke, Belfield; three nephews, Tristen Schuhrke, NDSU, Fargo, Jon and Blaine Schuhrke, Belfield; Several cousins; also Uncle Floyd (Joan) Schuhrke, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Aunt Dorothy Frank, Billings, Mont.
