Juli Hondl, 72, Dickinson, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Juli’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, February 17, 2012 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Todd Kreitinger as the celebrant. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Fort Berthold Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. There will be a rosary & vigil at 6 p.m., Thursday at Ladbury Funeral Service, with Deacon Ron Keller presiding.

Juli Nicklos was born September 7, 1939 at New England to Mike and Magdaline (Roeder) Nicklos. Juli was raised and educated in New England until she moved to Portland, Ore., where she graduated from high school. Juli married Vince Hondl on October 16, 1957 at St Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson.

Juli was active in the family business but she also dealt black jack and worked in various restaurants. She loved spending time in the garden, baking, playing bingo, and doing craft work. Time with her family and friends, whether playing games or just socializing, was very dear to her.

Juli is survived by her husband, Vince, Dickinson; three children, Gene Hondl, Simone (Wayne) Olheiser, and Shawn (Myria Walker) Hondl, all of Dickinson; two grandchildren, Tye and Megan Maus; eight siblings, Clara Letang, Portland, Ore., Donna Kovash, Dickinson, Grace Pavlicek, West Senecan N.Y., Bonni (Dennis) Sauvageau, Three Forlks, Mont., Mona Wong, Portland, Ore., Bev Nicklos, Everette, Wash., Kay Hust, Portland, Ore., and Richard (Dorothy) Nicklos, Linton.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Darlene Langos, one brother, Bob Nicklos, one step-brother, Tim Hust, one niece, Kelly Letang and two brothers-in-law, Ron Kovash and Richard Pavlicek.
