Julie LaDonna Doppler, born February 10, 1966 at St. Paul, Minn., the youngest child of 12 of Frank and Mary (Hamilton) Doppler. She graduated from Dickinson High School in 1984 and married the love of her life, Nathan Thomas, on March 8, 1992. In 2000 God answered their prayers with a beautiful baby girl through adoption. She was primarily a stay-at-home mom except for a short time when she worked at the Walmart Portrait Studio; she loved this job as it was a perfect fit for someone who loved to make other people smile.
Julie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, baking, decorating cakes, and doing crafts. She was also always very intrigued with the weather and loved to watch the storm clouds rolling in. Her laughter, warm heart, cooking and stubbornness will be greatly missed. She will never be forgotten and we find comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain and is now an angel among us.
Those who are here to cherish her memory are her father, her husband Nathan and their daughter Josey of Dickinson; her brothers, Jim (Lynn) Doppler of Minnesota, Marcus (Valerie) Doppler of Minnesota, Ken Doppler of Minnesota, Thomas Doppler of North Dakota; her sisters, Kathy (Mike Gates) Strese of Minnesota, Junice (Ron) Nue of Minnesota, Mary (Larry Pesheck) Tuttle of North Dakota, Pamela (Sherman) Biffert of North Dakota, Bonnie (Ted Jaffert) Steece of Iowa and Lori (Rod) Lang of Iowa; along with 20 nephews, 15 nieces, 33 great-nephews & nieces; cousins and friends, especially her dear friend Mary Lou Weber . She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, her mother, Mary Eve (Hamilton) Doppler; her infant brother Douglas; her nephew Jesse Strese; aunts Grace and Mary; uncles Frank and Leonard; and her close friend Rhonda Messer.
