Katherine Raab-Harrington, 92, Dickinson, died Friday, June 19, 2020 at CHI St. Alexius, Dickinson. Katherine’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 25, 2020 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. William Ruelle as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. There will be a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m., Wednesday with Deacon Ron Keller presiding.

Katherine Rebel was born April 27, 1928 in Richardton, the daughter of Anton and Katie (Goetz) Rebel. She was educated through the eighth grade and later earned her G.E.D. Katherine’s primarily occupation was being a skilled homemaker and later in life, worked in retail.

Katherine was united in marriage to Steven C. Raab on June 30, 1947 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church and to this union six children were born, Darrold, Steven, Allen, Carol, Sharon and Janice. Steven C. died on March 30, 1982. Katherine married Larry Harrington on September 3, 1992, he died on December 20, 1999.

She was a past president of the Eagles Auxiliary in 1972 and was honored as the mother of the year. Katherine enjoyed playing cards, walking and dancing, and her real passion was flowers. She was a member of Senior Center, St. Anthony’s, Ministry of Praise, St. Patrick’s Church, and was devoted to her Adoration Hour.

Katherine is survived by her children, Darrold (Delores) Raab, Dickinson, Steven M. Raab, Washington, Allen P. Raab, Salt Lake City, Utah, Carol (Jack) Huseby, Bismarck, Sharon (Arnold) Olheiser, Dickinson, and Janice (Dan) Kostelecky, Topeka, Kan.; ten grandchildren, Melissa (Tim) Gross, Susan (Mark) Lardy, Mark (Heidi) Mankey, Elizabeth Mankey, Jennifer (Jovan) Williams, Jason (Melissa) Olheiser, Joshua (Jody) Olheiser, Colin Kostelecky, Samantha (RJ) Soldani, and Katy (Justin) Roloff; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Kurtz, Sacramento, Calif, Eleanor (Clifford) Walter, Dickinson, and Tony Rebel, Richardton.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Steven C. Raab and Larry Harrington; her parents; brothers, Matt, Nick, and Joe; infant sister, Anna Rebel; sisters, Eva Ficek, Helen Froehlick, and Marie Morel; son-in-law, Michael Mankey; and also all of her Raab and Rebel in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church or CHI St. Alexius Hospital.
