Kathleen Daisy Davis Fisher, 83, Richardton, died on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Kathleen’s Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m, Sunday June 9, 2024 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Pastor Terry Pflugrad as officiant.

Kathleen Daisy Davis was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon, on October 9, 1940, to George A. and Virginie C. (Caron) Davis.

On July 14, 1959, Kathleen married Sheldon L. Fisher of Antelope, North Dakota, in Missoula, Montana, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, where they had previously met.

Over many years they fostered several children including Robert Lee and raised five of their own; Sharon, Vaunda, Sheleen, Craig and Shannon. They raised sheep, grew wheat, oats, barley and ran Spring Creek Flour Mill for several years.

Kathleen became and LPN later in life and worked at the Richardton Clinic. She also did home health care and worked in group homes as a nurse. She enjoyed many different hobbies including sewing, crocheting, painting, and playing the piano.

Kathleen and Sheldon divorced in 1984, but they remained friends. Kathleen was married several times and she made special connections with each family. Because of his love for her, Perry Eyler and his family were very special to her. One of their grandchildren was even named after her. They were married on March 31, 1991. Perry died on September 18, 2002. Three years later she married Ray LaVerene Prettyman and moved to Texas. She spent the last several years of her life back in North Dakota near her family.

Kathleen is survived by her sisters, Sharon (Gary) Messer, Diana (Earl) Palmer; children, Vaunda Fisher, Sheleen Fisher, Craig (Amanda) Fisher, and Shannon (Galen) Drake; grandchildren, Trystan Fisher, Joel (Jaden) Fisher, Brenna Fisher, Crystal Fisher, Travis (Elaine) Wood, Ryan Wood, Mindy Wood, Justin (Brett) Bradstreet, Noah Whitney, Zoe Binstock, Nikki Aiden, Levi Foerderer, Mitch Gross, Amanda (Zac) Boelter, Ashley Gross, Mackenzie Gross, Marcy (Pat) Kuntz, Jamen (Becky) Wolf, Heidi (James) Strain, Tony Wolf, Genie Messer, Charlotte (Reed) Merkel; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Virginie Davis; Sheldon Fisher; and brothers, Clifford E. Davis, and George R. Davis.
