Kathryn “Kathy” “Grandma Kathy” Ingman, 83, Dickinson, died on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Kathy’s Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at River of Life Church International with Rev. Joe Stefalo officiating. Interment will take place at Belfield Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

Kathy Joubert was born September 16, 1939 along side twin brother Kenny, to Noah and Marie (Stockstad) Joubert. She grew up in the Gwinner area, attending school in Gwinner and graduating from Gwinner High School in 1957.

She left Gwinner after high school and moved to the Fryburg area where she baby sat for her sister Marilyn. There she met Harlan Ingman and they were married.

Kathy and Harlan farmed and ranched in the Fryburg area, raising their four children. She loved her family, friends and was quite a hand at sewing, and making beautiful quilts. They later sold the farm and moved into Dickinson. After many years Harlan and Kathy went their separate ways.

She always welcomed her family and friends, and did a lot of babysitting and sewing.

Kathy is survived by her children, Scot (Mary), Dickinson, Mitch (Julie), Dickinson, Boyd, Missouri Valley, Iowa, and Krista, Middletown, Conn.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Miranda Lynn; two brothers; and four sisters.
