Kathy Faulhaber, 61, Dickinson, died Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the West River Regional Medical Center, Hettinger. Kathy’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Keith Streifel as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. There will be a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., Tuesday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Deacon Ron Keller presiding.

Kathleen Rae Heidecker was born the daughter of William and Angeline (Scheeler) Heidecker. She was raised and educated in Dickinson, having attended St. Joseph Catholic Grade School and graduated From Dickinson High School 1972. Upon graduation she worked for St. Joseph Hospital and for the last 29 years she worked at St. Benedicts Health Center in Dickinson.

Kathy married Kelvin Faulhaber on October 20, 1978 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She has two daughters and twin boys. She has been blessed with three grandsons, one precious granddaughter, two sons-in-law and one daughter-in-law.

She loved pet & house sitting for family and friends when they left for vacations. Loved going to the farm and taking care of the grandsons and feeding the newborn calves. She looked forward to camping, family gatherings and functions. She enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, and last but not least, spending time with her “cats and dogs”. Kathy will be greatly missed by everyone near and dear and has touched the hearts of her family, friends and coworkers.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Kelvin; her four children, Nicole (Wayde) Atkinson, Lemmon, S.D., Nina Kolling, Dickinson, Cory (Mandy) Faulhaber, Gladstone, Kyle Faulhaber, Bismarck; mother, Angeline Heidecker, Dickinson; mother-in-law, Mathilda Faulhaber, Dickinson; three grandsons, Mitchell Miller, Lemmon, Joey Heidecker, Dickinson, and Colton Heidecker, Dickinson; one precious granddaughter, Jaysik Faulhaber, Gladstone; one brother, Ken (Carol) Heidecker, Dickinson.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Heidecker; her father-in-law, Joseph F. Faulhaber, Jr.; brother-in-law, Randy Faulhaber; son-in-law, Kurt L. Kolling; and from both sides of the family grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
