Keith L. Newton, 55, Belfield, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in Belfield. Keith’s Memorial Service will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Belfield Lutheran Church, Belfield, with Rev. Roger Dieterle officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Belfield Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Ladbur5y Funeral Service, with a prayer service at 8 p.m., visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
Keith Lee Newton was born March 9, 1955 in Dickinson, the son of Russel and Gladys (Larson) Newton. He was baptized at the First Presbyterian Church, Belfield, and graduated from Belfield High School in 1973.
Keith worked for his brothers and other bee keepers in the area, and had also owned a few bee hives of his own. In the mid 1980’s he worked in the oil industry for a short time while beekeeping. Keith liked to go back packing in the mountains in western Montana with his brothers, and also fishing in North Dakota. Over the years Keith had become an excellent pool player.
Keith is survived by his four brothers, Gary (Julie) Newton, Ken (Barb) Newton, Bob (Nancy) Newton, and Terry Newton, all of Belfield; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruth, brother, Johnny; and nieces, Nancy and Charmon.
