Kevin J. Hatzenbuhler, 61, Dickinson, died Thursday, April 22, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident southeast of Watford City. Kevin’s Liturgy of Word Service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Deacon Ross Reiter presiding. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Kevin J. Hatzenbuhler was born September 3, 1959 in Dickinson, the son of Mike and Leona (Decker) Hatzenbuhler. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, having graduated from Dickinson High School in 1978. Throughout his life he had been involved in construction, coal and most recently the oil industry as a heavy equipment or truck driver. He has made Dickinson his home for approximately the last 15 years.

He belonged to the St. Anthony’s Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, motorcycling and watching the Daytona 500.

Kevin is survived by his dad, Mike; five siblings, Duwayne (Leah Pavlick) Hatzenbuhler, Kenneth Hatzenbuhler, Debbie (Tom) Roller, Blaine Hatzenbuhler and Tim (Jeannie) Hatzenbuhler, all of Dickinson; two nieces; and three great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona.
