Kimberly Jean Diesem, 41, Dickinson, died Friday, December 24, 2010 at her home. Kim’s Memorial service will be on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 1 p.m., at the New Life United Pentecostal Church, Dickinson, with Pastor Bob Simons officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Kimberly was born August 6, 1969 in Chelan, Wash. With her family, she traveled all over the world spending time in places such as Killeen/El Paso, Texas; Bitburg, Germany and Hurricane/Salt Lake City, Utah. She called North Dakota her home for the past 11 years. Kim was very intelligent, she graduated from Killeen, Texas – attended collage at El Paso, Texas and St. George, Utah.

Kim was a very caring, and uncommon human being. She struggled internally with many things throughout her life, but always had a laugh and a smile for everyone she came in contact with. One of her favorite past times was doing crafts such as dream catchers, necklaces, and small projects. She was very talented in her artwork.

She is survived by her husband of six years Billy Joe “Stormy” Diesem, Dickinson; grandmothers, Teddy Billingsley, Hurricane, Utah and Betty Gunderson, Stanley; her parents, Greg and Pam Gunderson, White Earth; sisters, Kelly Gunderson, Dickinson, Annemie (JJ) Ottesen, Stanley; brother, Greg (Julie) Gunderson, Ross; grandfather, Roger (Joan) Armstrong, El Paso, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Kim had a very special relationship with her niece Khloe Juma that was unbreakable and a love like a mother could have. Khloe’s love for her Aunt Kim was without judgment. She also is survived by nieces, Rease & Khloe Juma, Kelse & Ziva Ottesen and Brooklyn Gunderson; nephews, Gregory & Michael Gunderson and Tristen (Gus) Lefever. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Gunderson; grandfathers, Ernie Billingsley and John Gunderson. She will be missed deeply by those that loved her and those that enjoyed spending time with her will miss her famous laugh.
