LaVerne Frank, 69, Dickinson, died Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Sanford on Broadway Fargo. LaVerne’s Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Monday, October 5, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Keith Streifel as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a rosary and vigil at 6 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service.
LaVerne Genevieve Frank was born on December 8, 1950 in Dickinson to Jack and Katherine (Herauf) Frank. She was raised and educated in Dickinson, graduating from Trinity in 1968. She worked in housekeeping at numerous hotels in Dickinson. Her last job was working at Service Master.
She enjoyed celebrating holidays and special events with family and friends. She looked forward to eating out after Saturday evening mass with loved ones. LaVerne enjoyed listening to music and watching television, taking trips to the casino and visiting with family. She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
LaVerne is survived by her brothers, Ben (special friend Tillie), Vic (Linda) and Leroy; sister-in-law, Jenny Frank; brother-in-law, Pete Ebner; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard; and sisters, Kathy Ebner and Evelyn (Joe) Gawryluk.
