Leo J. Dorval, 92, Dickinson, died Thursday, August 29, 2013 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. A Memorial gathering for Leo will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Dickinson with Mr. Bill Middleton officiating.
Leo was born October 26, 1920 at Gaylord to Joseph and Alma (Gauthier) Dorval. Leo worked for Husky Industries for 32 years. He married Evelyn Dassinger on October 3, 1950 at Dickinson. Leo was a member of Jehovah’s Witness and enjoyed building and woodworking in his spare time.
Leo is survived by his wife Evelyn, Dickinson, one son, Larry, Dickinson, and one daughter, Bernice (Doug) Marshall, Napa, Calif.; one son-in-law, Jeff Kappel, Dickinson, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Leo was preceded in death his parents, one daughter, Arlene Kappel, three sisters, and three brothers.
