Lillian (Barta) Wolff, 79, Dickinson, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 9, 2014 in Dickinson. Lillian’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Todd Kreitinger as the celebrant. Interment will take place at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. There will be a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., Monday at Ladbury Funeral Service, with Deacon Ron Keller presiding.
Lillian is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, John; her five children, Diane (Alex Thomas) Wolff-Thomas, Boston, Mass., Tim Wolff, Dickinson, Harriet (Doug) Worden, Coon Rapids, Minn., Bruce (Therese Rasmussen) Wolff, Denver, Colo., and Patti Wolff, Fargo; three grandchildren, Emma and Isaiah Thomas, and John Worden; her sister, Blanche Hammling, Bismarck; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Jean Wolff, Bismarck, and LaVonne Wolff, Dickinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, John; her parents, Frank and Catherine (Kostelecky) Barta; in-laws, Anton and Elizabeth Wolff; brother and sister-in-law, Ludwig (Martha) Barta; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Eugene Hammling, Frank (Marge) Wolff, and Otto Wolff.
