Lillian Repetowski, 83, Dickinson, died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Sandford Health, Fargo. Lillian’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Belfield, with Fr. Shane Campbell as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. There will be a rosary & vigil at 6 p.m., Friday at Ladbury Funeral Service, with Mr. Leonard Krebs of Queen of Peace Parish presiding.

Lillian Hondl was born December 29, 1934 in Dickinson to Louis and Pauline (Dvorak) Hondl. She was raised south of Dickinson on a farm where she was educated and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Richardton. She obtained her LPN degree from NDSCS and worked for a short time at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Dickinson.

She married Kenneth Repetowski, Belfield, on June 15, 1960 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson. They began farming north of Belfield and continued farming until the time of Kenneth’s passing. Lillian was a member of the Dakota Western Auto Club and St. Regina’s Guild, St. Bernard’s Parish. Lillian had a love for the outdoors where she enjoyed farming, gardening, tending to her flowers, riding bike, cooking, baking and spending time with her family as she taught them how to play cards and spoke to them in Czech. Lillian was often playing a game of solitaire, working on a puzzle, or listening to polka music. She was blessed to have helped raise her grandchildren. Lillian loved her family and always managed to stay in close touch by making her daily phone calls to check up on them.

Lillian is survived by her three children, Roxanne Kuntz, Dickinson, Connie Repetowski, Little Falls, Minn., and Cameron (Renee) Repetowski, Dickinson; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Lorraine Schroeder, August Hondl, Evelyn (Myron) Flemmer, Raymond (Loretta) Hondl and Mary (Ronald) Tweet.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Repetowski on December 29, 1999; her parents; brother, Benedict Hondl; sister-in-law, Judith Hondl; and brother-in-law, Joseph Schroeder.
