Linda Haag, 69, Fargo, formerly of Richardton, died Friday April 10, 2020 at Bethany on University, Fargo. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Richardton with Fr. Thomas Wordekemper, OSB as celebrant and assisted by Deacon Robert Bohn. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Linda Mae Haag was born on February 9, 1951 in Richardton, the daughter of Joseph and Louise (Kopp) Haag. Linda grew up on the family farm near Richardton. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Richardton and went on to attend NDSU in Fargo where she earned her degree in Sociology in 1984. She worked as a CNA for 13 years in nursing homes in North Dakota. She also worked at NDSU for 15 years with the history of the Germans from Russia.

She was active in her parishes and was involved helping others in the Catholic RCIA (Rite of Catholic Initiation for Adults) program. Linda had a strong love of the Lord.

She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, singing, and visiting people. She also liked to watch the Green Bay Packers football.

Linda is survived by her siblings, Irene Haag, Josie (Cal) Ullendorf, Ken Haag, Matt (Marilyn) Haag, and Jeff Haag; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph 2004 and Louise 2017, and brother Daniel 1999.
