Lori Lee Friesz, 56, Dickinson, died on Monday, May 26, 2025 at her home. Lori’s Celebration of Life Service will be at 1 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2025 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Pastor Ian Harp as officiant. Interment will take place at Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service.
Lori Lee Friesz was born January 6, 1969 in Elgin, the daughter of Eugene and Jeraldine “Jerri” (Kitzan) Friesz. She was raised and educated in Dickinson where she has lived most of her life. She has spent the last several years residing at the ABLE housing in Dickinson. During this time, Lori has worked at ABLE on work crews for the Arc Aid, Army’s, Steffes, and KMM.
She belonged to Special Olympics Bowling and the ARC. Reading her Bible was an important part of her life. Along with her music, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially on holidays, which brought her immense joy. She loved animals and children, and nobody was ever a stranger to her.
Lori is survived by her mother and step-dad, Jerri and Larry Thompson; brothers, Brian (Vickie) Friesz, Whitehall, MT and Darren Friesz, Dickinson; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; step-siblings, Lauren (Tom) Lipko, Mike (Vickie) Thompson, Mark (Janice) Thompson, and Carrie (Bob) Gates; and numerous aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Friesz; her grandparents, Ralph and Irene Kitzan; and Ed and Lillian Friesz; and her nephew, Tyler Friesz.
