Louis Di Nunzio, 92, Dickinson died Saturday, December 13, 2008 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck. A rosary and vigil will be at 1 pm, Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Ladbury Funeral Service with Deacon Al Schwindt presiding. Inurnment will take place at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston, R.I. Visitation will be Sunday from 11 am to 1 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Louis was one of 10 children born in Providence, R.I. On February 16, 1916 to Francisco and Giovannina (Tasillo) Di Nunzio. On April 19, 1941 he married Dorothea Rinaldi at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Providence.

Louis was a skilled machinist and established a precision tool and die business. He owned and operated L.D. Joyce Co in Providence until he retired in 1979. Louis and Dorothea moved to Dickinson in 1980 to be near their daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren.

Besides his wife of 67 years he leaves one daughter, Joyce (Allan T.) Thompson, Fairfield; one grandson, Scott A. Thompson, Bloomington, Minn.; two granddaughters, Holly (Ken) Heyda, Plymouth, Minn, and Julie (Cody) Reis, Fairfield; seven great-grandchildren, one brother, and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one sister.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to Make-a-Wish Foundation or the Ronald McDonald House.
