Lucile Wilma (Jost) Knudtson, 99, Dickinson, passed on to her home in Glory on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson. Lucile’s dance of life celebration service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Rev. Dick Rinearson officiating. Interment will take place at the Grassy Butte Cemetery, Grassy Butte. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service.
Lucile was preceded in death by her parents, William and Julia Jost; husband, Thomas H. Knudtson; son, 1st Lt. Roger Douglas Knudtson, USMC; brothers, Elmer Jost and Ralph Jost of Grassy Butte; sisters, Helen (Jost) Ozanne of Watford City, and Elaine (Jost) Van Fleet of Grassy Butte; and daughter-in-law, Karen (Kissie) Knudtson of Hebron.
She is survived by her son, Harold T. Knudtson of Hebron; her daughter, Shirley A. (Knudtson) Mueller of St. Paul, Minn.; grandchildren, Cerese (Patrick) (Knudtson) Phillippe of Chanhassen, Minn., Cazanne (David) (Knudtson) Fitterer of Bismarck, Chad (Tammy Gullickson) Knudtson of Mandan, Eunice (Paul) (Mueller) Doelz of Bloomington, Minn., and Chissey Mueller of Washington DC; five great-grandchildren; six nieces and five nephews; and her good neighbors and friends in Grassy Butte, Fairfield and Dickinson.
In lieu of flowers, Lucile would strongly prefer memorials given to the Sunset Senior Center, 46 1st Ave. East, Dickinson #701-483-0156.
