Luella J. Forster, 62, Gladstone, ND, died Friday, February 23, 2007 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial for Luella will be at 10 a.m., Monday, February 26, 2007 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Richardton with Fr. Boniface Muggli, OSB as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with a rosary at 7 p.m., led by Jerry Haich. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church.

Luella J. Elis was born March 17, 1944 on the family farm south west of Schefield, ND, the daughter of Sebastian and Rosemary (Dukart) Elis. The family moved to a farm north east of Taylor where she was raised and educated, graduating from St. Mary’s High School in 1962.

Luella married Vern Forster on June 19, 1962 at St. Mary’s. They lived in Minnesota and Alaska prior to moving to Gladstone in 1976.

Luella is survived by her husband, Vern; their four children, Dean Forster, Moorhead, MN, Tina Forster, Long Beach, CA, Tracy (Alan) Tollagson, Glyndon, MN, and Brian (Stacey) Forster, Minneapolis, MN; four granddaughters, Sarina Forster, Hayli Tollagson, Brooklyn and Abbey Forster; one sister, Geraldine (Dale) Rummel, Bismarck; and two brothers, Bertrand (Irene) Elis, Hubbard, TX, and Joseph (Melody) Elis, Dickinson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
