Lynnette C. Nodland, 44, Halliday, died on Friday, December 1, 2023 surrounded by her family at Sanford on Broadway, Fargo. Lynnette’s Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Intern Pastor Anne Nies officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Lynnette C. Purdon was born February 20, 1979 in Casper, WY, the daughter of Donald and Barb (Yonkaitis) Purdon. 0She was raised and educated in Forsyth, MT, having graduated from Forsyth High School in 1997.

She went on to attend Dickinson State University where she met her future husband, Kurt Nodland. They were united in marriage on May 22, 1999 in Forsyth. They made their home in the Werner area where they raised their family.

Lynnette worked for Hill Top Home of Comfort, prior to becoming a Paraprofessional at Killdeer Public School. She was very instrumental in starting the preschool as a part of the Killdeer School System. Lynnette went to work for the City of Dunn Center and later retired due to her health issues.

Lynnette is survived by her husband, Kurt; children, Kadin (Merasha) Nodland, Dickinson and Kaile (Dakota) Nodland, Minot; her parents, Donald and Barb Purdon, Forsyth; siblings, Don Charles Purdon, Colstrip, MT and Bettinna (Jeff) Moos, Brockway, MT; in-laws, Donald and Norma Nodland, Nemo, SD; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Chris) Lenning, Parshall; several nieces and nephews, Delaney Purdon, Addison Purdon, Aubrey Moos, Tracen Moos, Aspen (Ruben) Lenning, Braydyn (Ke) Lenning; and special nephew, Kyle.
