Marcia Jean Faulhaber, 40, Dickinson, passed away at her parent’s home on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 surrounded by her family and close friends after a long courageous battle with cancer. Marcia’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Todd Kreitinger as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service with a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m. with Deacon Ron Keller presiding.
Marcia Jean Faulhaber was born on Friday, September 9, 1977 in Dickinson, to Jerry and Joanne (Weiler) Faulhaber. She grew up in Dickinson and was a graduate of Dickinson High School. She worked as a certified restorative aid/CNA/CMA at St. Benedict’s Health center for 25 years.
She was a member of the Dickinson Eagles Club Ladies Auxiliary. Her hobbies and interests included softball, volleyball, golf, painting, playing bingo and attending UND hockey games.
Although Marcia did not have any children, she had a niece, nephews, godchildren, and others that were dear to her heart and that she treated as own. Her contagious laugh and smile will be greatly missed. She has blessed and touched the lives of many. Everyone who knew her looked up to her as she was a hero who didn’t wear a cape. Marcia will always be remembered for her kind spirit and big heart.
She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Joanne Faulhaber; her four sisters Michelle (Tim) Hajicek, Jennifer (Randy) Fournier, Jolynn Faulhaber and Rebecca (Brad) Lucke; niece, Kaitlynn Hajicek and nephews, Austin Fournier, Camden Lucke and Corban Lucke and also her close friends, Sandy (Keith) Baer, Marcy Dvorak, and Kym (Andrew) Hanson.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Louie and Barbara Weiler and Joseph and Matilda (Tillie) Faulhaber.
