Margaret L. Just, 90, Dickinson, died Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Services will take place at a later date.
Margaret was born February 22, 1934, the daughter of Hubert and ERLice (Skinner) Fonk. She was raised and educated in Manhattan, MT.
Margaret met and married Warren Just in Manhattan. They followed Warren’s career with the railroad ending up in Medora for 57 years. Upon their retirement, Margaret and Warren traveled south for over 20 years.
She was very active in Medora events and activities working for many years at the Medora Grazing Association. She enjoyed playing cards, walking with her friends, but mostly loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her children, Stacey Olson, Treasure Island, FL, Wayne Just, Rochester, MN, and Amy Scott, Dillon, MT; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; her brother, Ed Fonk, Manhattan; and also several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren.
