Margaret Kopp, 88, Richardton, died Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the West River Health Center, Hettinger. Margaret’s Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., CDT, Thursday, October 28, 2010, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bismarck, with Fr. Gene Lindemann as the celebrant. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.

Margaret Kopp was born August 3, 1922, at Lefor, the daughter of John J. and Rufina (Miller) Kopp. She moved to Emmons County with her family and received her education there. Margaret moved to Richardton and worked at the Richardton Hospital taking care of the laundry.

Margaret enjoyed sewing, crocheting and writing letters. The past several years of her life she has spent in care centers, most recently at the Western Horizons Care Center in Hettinger.

Margaret is survived by four sisters, Louise Haag, Dickinson, Agnes (Mathias) Fettig, Bismarck, Sally Craig, Phoenix, Ariz., and Marie Glass, Kingman, Ariz.; one sister-in-law, Angie Kopp, Bismarck; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Victor Kopp; an infant brother; and two brothers-in-law, Joe Haag and Marvin Craig.
