Private Family Services will be at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Burial will follow at the Alden Township Cemetery, Regent.

Marian V. Larson, 99, Dickinson was welcomed into heaven by the Lord on Friday, April 30, 2021 after a short stay at St. Benedicts Elder Care, prior to that she resided in her home of 50 years.

On July 20, 1921 Marian was born to Ernest Anderson and Alice (Christopherson) Anderson on a farm southwest of Regent. She was the middle child of nine children. Marian met and married the love of her life Marvin L. Larson. They were married on July 2, 1940. Marvin and Marian were married for 65 years. They resided in Regent until 1953 when they moved to Dickinson. Marian and Marvin had three children, Ronnie M. Larson, Denyce L. (Larson) Jennings, and Jerilee A. (Larson) Shores.

Marian gave her heart to the Lord on February 8, 1959. She loved Jesus very much and was very faithful in attending church services and helping out any way she could. Marian served as a church secretary, song leader, and Sunday School teacher. Marian loved serving Jesus and shared her faith often. The lives of many people were changed due to her unwavering faith and witness. She will be missed by her family and those who were impacted by her testimony.

Marian loved to cook, plant flowers, work in the yard, make crafts and decorate her home. She enjoyed decorating for holidays and preparing a welcome place for family and friends. Marian loved her family and enjoyed celebrating holidays with them around a table laden with many delicious dishes, which several were published. Marian loved to dress up and wear fancy high heels and jewelry.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, on June 25, 2005; parents, Ernest and Alice Anderson; brothers, Gilmer Anderson, Merlin Anderson, LeRoy Anderson, and Sidney Anderson; sisters, Ruth Dodd, Harriett Wagendorf, Grace Davidson, and Leona Anderson.

Bidding her a beloved farewell are her children, Ronnie M. Larson, Dickinson and his two children DeeAnn Marsh and husband Cally, Dickinson and Lance Larson and fiancé Angie Anderson, daughter – Denyce Jennings and her husband James, Lynden, Washington and daughter – Jerilee Shores and husband Richard, Shelby, North Carolina and their children Tyler Shores and wife Jamie, and Kelsey Shores; three great-grandchildren Ciarra, Alannah and Logan Marsh.
