Marie P. Bostock, 78, Dickinson, died on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Benedictine Living Community, Dickinson, Marie’s Liturgy of Word will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Deacon Ron Keller as presider. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson.
Marie Patricia Sickler was born March 13, 1947 in Dickinson, the daughter of Tony and Tillie (Mischel) Sickler. She was raised and educated in Dickinson. Marie married Dennis Anner and to this union a son, Guy, was born.
Marie and her son, Guy, lived in various locations until settling in California. Here she met Robert Bostock and they were married on August 18, 1973 in Cupertino, CA. The family relocated so Bob could earn his degree in Chiropractic Health. They then returned to California where they remained until his retirement.
Marie and Bob moved to Dickinson in 2005 and he died on June 27, 2015. She remained living in Dickinson until the time of her death.
Her faith was extremely important to her. She enjoyed morning coffee, walks, exercising, and watching her health.
Marie is survived by her son, Guy (Nancy) Bostock; grandchildren, Alex (Alyssa) Bostock, Anthony Bostock, Kelli (Nick) Jelovic, Alexandra Marshall, and Grayson Marshall; great-grandchildren, Quinn Bostock and Olive Jelovic; siblings, David Sickler, Great Falls, MT, Alfred Sickler, Dickinson, Arlie Anton, Dickinson, Adzie Barstow, Walnut Creek, CA, Arnie Sickler, Dickinson, Marla (Dennis) Svihl, Dickinson, and Rodney Sickler, Dickinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bostock; her parents; siblings, Ray, Duane, Donnie, Dale, Jerry and Cindy; sisters-in-law, Marcy Sickler and Mary Sickler; and brothers-in-law, Ron Anton, and James Barstow.
