Marilyn Binek, 77, Rapid City, S.D., formerly of Killdeer, passed away peacefully at Rapid City Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 21, 2018 surrounded by family. Marilyn’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Killdeer with Msgr. James Shea as the celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Marilyn Dolejak was born April 15, 1941 in Dickinson, daughter of Victor and Emma (Roller) Dolejak. She grew up on a farm south of Dickinson and attended grade and high school in Dickinson.

Marilyn married Robert Binek on August 2, 1958. They resided in Killdeer where she worked various jobs. She loved to have fun, especially camping at the Hart Ranch, gambling with her girlfriends, and enjoying the company of her grandchildren.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Robert Binek; son, Harley (Roxie) Binek; two grandsons, Daniel (Stephanie) Binek and Ryan Binek; one granddaughter, Shasta (Jacob) Binek, all of Dunn Center; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Taeleigh, Braxton, Harley, Ryatt, Ayden, Emitt, Brodie and Macie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Bryan.
