Marilyn Reisenauer, 68, Dickinson went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck. Marilyn’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, December 19, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Todd Kreitinger as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday at Ladbury Funeral Service at Ladbury Funeral Service with a prayer service at 7 p.m., with Rev. Pep Waples presiding.
Marilyn Sivak was born October 30, 1940 in Billings County at Snow, ND, the daughter of Paul H. and Polly (Gawryluk) Sivak. She was raised and educated in the Belfield area, graduating from Belfield High School in 1958. Marilyn worked at Franklin’s and Buchman’s in Belfield and also at Fred’s Fairway in Dickinson.
Marilyn married Phil G. Reisenauer on July 19, 1968 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Belfield. Together they farmed and ranched south east of Dickinson. Marilyn enjoyed gardening, her church and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Phil; their four children, Troy (Heidi Shaffer) Reisenauer, Fargo, Tracy (Dana) Schagunn, Dickinson, Tremaine (Jason) Badinger, Dickinson, and Todd (Amy) Reisenauer, Fargo; six grandchildren, Noah, Trevor and Matthew Schagunn, Mason and Rachael Badinger, and Tess Reisenauer; three sisters, Aggie Papka, Dickinson, Jan (Ronald) Kadrmas, Dickinson, and Virginia (Bob) Holland, Dickinson; and four brothers, Steve Sivak, Dickinson, Charles Sivak, Dickinson, Paul Sivak, Dickinson, and Emil Sivak, Orlando, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents.
