Marjorie Rikard, 57, New England, died Sunday, February 16, 2020 at her home in New England. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Memorial Hall in New England.

Marjorie was born July 31, 1962 at Hanford, Calif., daughter of Andy Travalini and Joyce (Stacey) Travalini. Marjorie was raised and educated in the Hanford area. She was united in marriage to Darrel Rikard on October 29, 1989 in Hanford.

In early 2000, she worked for Disalvo Trucking until she was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at the age of 30. She was the best mother and loving friend to all. Marjorie had the biggest heart and even with her sickness always went out of her way to help others.

She loved Bingo, spending time with her grandchildren, couponing and shopping.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Darrel, New England; children, James “Jimmy” Damari, New England, Colleen (Spencer Wisham) Rikard, New England and Shannon (Pete) Schultheis, Clovis, Calif.; grandchildren, Maddix, Bella, Lilly, Molly, and Bonnie Wisham, Colton and Hanna Schultheis; her mother, Joyce Thompson, New England; and siblings, Sheridan Thompson, New England, Frank Travalini, Lancaster, Calif., Fred Thompson, Baltimore, M.D., and Tracey Johnson, Dickinson.

She was preceded in death by her step-dad, Dan Thompson.
