Marjorie Sticka, 80, Dickinson, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson. Marjorie’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 20, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Keith Streifel as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a rosary and vigil at 6 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service with Deacon Al Schwindt presiding.

Marjorie Jablonsky was born September 22, 1936 to Louis and Bertha (Hendricks) Jablonsky in Dickinson. She was raised on a family farm in Dunn County and attended grade school there. She attended high school in Dickinson, while boarding with relatives. On November 8, 1955 she married Henry Sticka at St. Joseph’s Church in Dickinson. They lived on the Sticka farm until 1957 when they moved to Dickinson. Marge spent the majority of her life as a loving mother and wife. She made sure her home was always a place to call home.

She was an avid reader. Many weekends were spent camping with family and friends. Later in life, she became an accomplished user of her I-Pad, enjoying many games and word searches.

Marge is survived by her daughters, Jane (Kenny) Heiser, Dickinson, and Karen (Clark Fuchs) Lewis, Bismarck; grandchildren, Jackie (Dean) Winczewski, Minot, Jamie Sticka, Fargo, Chad (Amanda) Jahner, Dickinson, Tanner Lewis, Dickinson and Cole Lewis, Dickinson; nine great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Albert Dukart; and in-laws, Agnes Frank, Josie Steier, Rosie (Ray) Gartner, Ben (Verlene) Sticka, Marge (Ed) Frank, Joan (Jerry) Stenehjem, Hilda Pavlish, Jean Sticka, John (Sue) Sticka, and Ed (Renee) Sticka.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry; son, Dan Sticka and sister, Elsie Dukart.
