Martha Borgman was born September 27, 1930 at South Heart, the daughter of Martin and Bertha (Kooren) Borgman. She attended school in South Heart and then Richardton St. Mary’s High School, where she graduated.

She met the love of her life, Matthias Hutzenbiler, and they were united in marriage on May 31, 1948. To this union 11 children were brought into her life. During this time Martha milked cows and worked on the farm as she raised these children. She also drove school bus for Belfield for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Enjoyment was found in playing cards and crocheting. Friday night “Happy Hour” at her house was something looked forward to. Martha also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary.
