Marvin was born on September 23, 1957 to John and Catherine (Huschka) Roller, in Worland, Wyoming. In 1958 his family moved to a farm near Belfield where Marvin spent his childhood years. He graduated from Belfield High School in 1975.
He went on to work various jobs throughout his life in construction, bus manufacturing, and fiberglass fabrication.
On August 8, 1980 he married Vicky Lennick. Their union was blessed with two sons; Brock in 1981 and Dustin in 1983.
Marv enjoyed fishing, hunting, and just simply spending time outdoors. In his retirement he found his love of lake life and was working on perfecting the art of relaxation. You could also often find him in the kitchen making his favorite treats or experimenting with a new recipe. Brock and Dustin have particularly fond memories of frequent cookouts and bonding over beers. Many memories were made playing cards or pinochle with his siblings as well. His main passion was woodworking, he spent hours upon hours on his projects to achieve his high level of precision…every detail mattered!
Marv was a devoted Dad and Grandpa to all his boys. The subtle ways he was always there when it counted will leave an unimaginable void. His little smirks, chuckles, and that twinkle in his eyes when he was up to no good will be sorely missed.
We will look for you, see you, and be with you in the warmth of the sunrises and sunsets over the lake until we can meet again.
Marv is survived by his sons, Brock (Sarah) and Dustin; two grandsons, Kason and Jake; mom, Catherine Roller; brothers, John (Sue); Kurt (Carolyn), Tom, and Kevin (Mindy); sisters, Geraldine (Dave) Hanel, Pam (Mark) Vervalen, Deb (Leon) Custer, Roxann (Duane) Goetz, Char (Joe) Havelka, Cheryl Krivoruchka, and Bonnie Custer.
He was preceded in death by his dad, John Roller; brother-in-law, Lonny Custer; sister-in-law, Debbie Roller; and nephew, Zane Krivoruchka.
