Marvin James Stroh, 65, of Washburn, ND, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Marvin’s Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. CT, Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Washburn City Hall, Washburn. A Time of Sharing will be held at 11 a.m., MT, Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson.

Marvin was born on November 19, 1958, in Manning, ND. He was a loving father to his son, Miles J. Stroh, and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his only son, Miles, and cherished their bond. Marvin had a gentle soul, and his presence will be greatly missed.

Marvin worked hard his entire life in various fields including operating heavy equipment, truck driving, and construction. He was dedicated and took pride in his work. Marvin’s strong ethic served as an inspiration to those around him.

Marvin will be remembered for his love for classic cars and guns. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to express his passion. His enthusiasm for these interests was contagious, and he enjoyed sharing his knowledge with others.

Marvin’s memory will forever be cherished by his son, Miles J. Stroh, his mother, Deb, his sister, Hilda, sister, Ellen, and many more friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa Stroh, his brother, Ken, his brother, Carl, and his sister, Bernie.

Marvin’s faith was important to him, and he held a special connection with St. Edwin’s Catholic Church, where he worshipped.

In this time of loss, we remember Marvin’s vibrant spirit and the impact he had on those around him. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted and loving individual who brought joy to the lives of many. May his soul rest in peace.
