Mary Ann Goblirsch, 92, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson. A Memorial Service for Mary Ann will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 25, 2014 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Deacon Ron Keller presiding. She will be Inurned at St. Anne’s Cemetery, Wabasso, Minn. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time on Friday.

Mary Ann Miller was born July 1, 1922 at Gary, S.D., the daughter of Frank and Carey (Fritz) Miller. She was raised and educated in Gary. In 1946, Mary Ann and Leonard Goblirsch were united in marriage at Canby, Minn.

They had lived in the Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn. area and Wabasso, Minn., prior to making their home in Dickinson in the 1960’s. During the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, Mary Ann worked at Service Drug Gift Shop. She belonged to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, and loved to go bowling. She enjoyed needlework, crossword puzzles, the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, and the LA Lakers. When she was able to she loved spending time in the flower garden.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Melinda (David DeJaeger) Goblirsch, Sedalia, Colo., and Richard (Alice) Goblirsch, Englewood, Colo.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Iona Schulte, Clear Lake, S.D., and James Miller, Bismarck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; three sons, Roger, Douglas and Todd Goblirsch; two brothers, Patrick and Aloysius; and one sister, Armetha.
