Maryann Gold was a beloved sister, wife, mother, aunt, friend, and above all, a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Early on June 14, 2026, Maryann entered the glory of heaven after a courageous battle against liver disease. Maryann’s Celebration of Life service will be at 2 p.m. MDT, Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will be 5 p.m. MDT to 7 p.m. MDT on Friday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will take place at 11 a.m., EDT, Friday, July 3, 2026 at Highland Cemetery, Rumney, NH.
She was born in Drayton, ND, on November 7, 1958, to Lloyd and Doris Moose, but lived on the MN side of the Red River. Maryann attended Kennedy High School and graduated in 1976. She then attended the University of North Dakota, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Nursing in 1980, and completed her education at South Dakota State University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing in 1985. She dedicated herself to serving people with compassion and care for 40 years as a nurse practitioner in IL, PA, NH, CO, and spent her last 18 years in Dickinson, ND, at the Great Plains Clinic/Sanford East Clinic.
She married Ronald Gold on August 12, 1989, after a long-distance relationship and after meeting at the 1987 Urbana Missions Conference. After supporting her husband through 4 years of Seminary, they moved into their first ministry together in Rumney, NH, beginning in 1994. In that same year, their first child, Rebecca (Becky) Joy Gold, was born, and their second child, Joshua Thomas Gold, was born in 1996. Maryann was a loving mother and wife to her family for almost 37 years. While she took great delight in her family, her greatest love was her relationship with Jesus Christ, which she faithfully modeled and persevered even in the most difficult of times.
Maryann came to saving faith in Christ after listening to a Billy Graham telecast as a teenager and grew in her faith through her high school and college years. She participated in Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, serving in leadership and discipleship ministries. For decades, as a pastor’s wife, she taught children of all ages in Awana, Sunday School, and Children’s Church. Maryann also assisted her husband for over a decade in leading and guiding many people recovering from addictions and struggling with mental health issues. Through Celebrate Recovery ministries, she showed them true freedom in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Her enduring legacy is her love and loyalty, which inspire and exemplify her New Beginnings Church family and the Dickinson community.
Maryann was preceded in death by John Moose (brother), Lloyd Moose (father), Doris Moose (mother), Connie Peoples (sister), Carol Houser (sister), and Harold (Butch) Moose (brother). Maryann is survived by her family, Ronald Gold, Rebecca (Christian) Røise, and Joshua Gold. Her surviving family also includes Howard and Nancy Henschel (brother and sister-in-law), Betty and James Lessard (sister and brother-in-law), Myrtle (Myrt) and Eric Turnquist (sister and brother-in-law), and Scott Houser (brother-in-law).

Our family deeply appreciates all who came to visit Maryann in both the local hospital and at Benedictine Living Community in her final days. It was an encouragement to her and her family. We are also grateful for the prayers, calls, and texts of love and support during this very difficult time.
