Matilda “Tillie” Faulhaber, 87, Dickinson, died Friday, February 27, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Tillie’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Father Todd Kreitinger as celebrant. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., Wednesday with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will continue Thursday beginning at 8 a.m. until noon at Ladbury Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dickinson.
Matilda (“Tillie”) Bosch was born June 30, 1927 at Fayette to Wendelin and Pauline (Rebsom) Bosch. Tillie later moved with her family to Killdeer. After Tillie moved to Dickinson she meet her future husband, Joseph Faulhaber, Jr. Tillie and Joseph were married at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson on June 8, 1948.
Tillie worked for various businesses in Dickinson as a cleaning lady. In her spare time she loved to go to dances, play cards, and do word searches. She always looked forward to time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her seven children, Jerry (Joanne), Dickinson, Don (Susie), Killeen, Texas, Kelvin, Tom (Marie), Dennis (Lorraine), Larry (Carol) all of Dickinson, and Darlene (Rick) Hofer, Gladstone; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Pauline (Albert) Schwindt, and Veronica Faulhaber both of Dickinson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; one son, Randy; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Faulhaber; four brothers, Steve, Joseph, Martin, and Tony; five sisters, Barbara, Catherine, Anna, Margaret, and Eleanor and one brother-in-law, Anton Faulhaber.
