Megan Grace Relyea, 29, entered the gates of Heaven on August 28, 2020. She passed away from natural causes at Conway Medical Center, in Conway, SC. Megan’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Belfield with Fr. Shane Campbell as celebrant. Inurnment will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church with a rosary and vigil at 5 p.m. with Deacon Loren Kordonowy presiding.

Megan was born to Karla (Havnvik) Relyea and Richard Relyea on April 25, 1991 in San Diego, Calif. She graduated from Port Charlotte High School in Port Charlotte, Fla. in 2009. She was a member of the Florida Dance Workshop and Company for 12 years. She participated in the Orange Bowl in Miami, Fla. as well as dancing with the dance group in New York City. Prior to her death she was taking classes at the Animal Behavior College to become a dog trainer. Her love of animals gave her much joy.

Megan’s generous love and spirit resulted in saving three lives through organ donation via Sharing Hope SC #DonateLife.

Megan is survived by her mother, Karla Relyea; sister, Katy Relyea; grandparents, Pat and Phil Havnvik; aunt and uncle, Kelli and Jim Barron; special friend and cousin, Lisa Dingeman, great-aunts, Linda Chornuk, Carlotta Kordonowy, LaVetta Gonzales, Tena Weinand, Wanda Kordonowy, Myra LeCaptain; and great-uncle, Ron Kordonowy.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Relyea; brother, Brian Relyea; grandparents, Linda and Larry Relyea; great-uncle, Arnie Kordonowy; and great-aunt and uncle, Karen and Jack Havnvik.
