Michael J. Dvorak, 36, formerly of Dickinson, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 29, 2013 in Fargo. Michael’s funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 5, 2013 at New Hope Church of the Nazarene, Dickinson with Pastor Bob Karie officiating. Interment will follow at the Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with the family present to receive guests from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Visitation will continue hour prior to service time at the church.

Michael was born June 1, 1976 at Devils Lake. He was the son of Donald and Elaine (Schock) Dvorak, Dickinson. Michael attended school in Dickinson and graduated from Dickinson High School in May 1994. He worked at several manufacturing companies in Fargo. His last job was as a plant supervisor for a steel manufacturing plant in Valley City, be fore he became disabled with multiple sclerosis.

In December 2000, Michael married Martie Gette of Williston. His two greatest joys were their daughter, Madison and their son, Maxwell.

Michael is survived by his wife, Martie and their two children, Fargo, his parents, Don and Elaine Dvorak, Dickinson, father and mother-in-law, Bruce and Kayleen Frederickson, Kalispell, Mont., uncles and aunts, Norman and Gloria Schock, Elgin, Rudy and Darlene Schock, Dickinson, Wayne and Verna Jacobs, Huntington Beach, Calif., Greg and Ruby Marthaler, Denver, Colo., Roger and Ann Kilwein, Dickinson and Gerald and Peggy Caven, St. Paul, Minn., and numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grand parents, Albert and Emma Dvorak and Arthur and Frieda Schock.
