Mildred Jahner, 77, Mott, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Society, Mott. Mildred’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 29, 2015 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Regent, with Fr. Charles Zins as the celebrant. Interment will follow at the St. Michael’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, and will continue at the church on Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church.

Mildred Leidholm was born May 4, 1938 on the family farm in the Birka area north west of Washburn, the daughter of Victor and Ella (Holznagel) Leidholm. Millie married Valentine Jahner on May 12, 1958 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, rural Mott.

Val and Millie farmed together and raised their family. She helped on the family dairy farm, milking cows with Val. She was a hard worker. Millie was very involved in her church guild, and was active in for many years in a homemakers club. She loved to dance, play cards, and talking on the phone was her last thing to enjoy.

Millie is survived by her children, Larry (Verlaine) Jahner, Bismarck, Brenda (John) Kouba, Bismarck, Roger (Renae) Jahner, Mott, Curtis (Sheryl) Jahner, Mott, Bernie (Sharon) Jahner, Bismarck, Vicki (Eric) Fuglister, Lakeville, Minn., Lyle (Sarah) Jahner, Mott, and Brent (Nikki) Jahner, Dickinson; 18 grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Millie Leidholm, Washburn, and Eva Leidholm, Mandan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Val on September 13, 2012; her parents; three brothers, Chester, Roy and Lloyd; two grandchildren, Shanna and Louis Jahner; and two premature sons.
