Nick Mosbrucker, 91, Dickinson, died Saturday, December 10, 2022 surrounded by his family at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Nick’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Justin Waltz as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 p.m.to 6 p.m. with a vigil at 6 p.m. with Deacon Ross Reiter presiding. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Nick W. Mosbrucker was born on June 23, 1931 in Glen Ullin to Adolph and Pauline (Deitrich) Mosbrucker. He was raised and educated in Glen Ullin.

Nick was united in marriage to Janice Schantz on July 10, 1957 in Glen Ullin. They made their home in Dickinson where they raised three children, Barry, Lois and Bruce.

In 1973, he started Mosbrucker Masonry and worked as a mason his entire career. Nick was Builder of the Year in 1986. He was a member of the ND Homebuilders Association, Knights of Columbus, Elks Club, and was in the Dickinson Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1977. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards, fishing and was a lifelong Minnesota Twins fan.

Nick is survived by his wife, Janice, Dickinson; children, Barry (Becky) Mosbrucker, Minneapolis, MN, Lois (John) Mueller, Dickinson and Bruce (Robbin Lake) Mosbrucker, Portland, OR; and four grandchildren, Nathan (Melissa) Mosbrucker, Samantha Mosbrucker, Jill Mueller and Jenna Mueller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Pauline; and all of his siblings.
